Challenging Firephone, Debut of Takee, the Domestic Holographic Phone
Nov 27 2014

By adopting computer-generated holographic technology, Takee traces the visual angle of human eyes, calculates the real hologram based on the holographic data model, and then, through a directional display, projects the stereoscopic images onto the retina of human eyes. Thus, the visual effect produced is exactly the same as the real visual perception. Since the hologram formed through holographic technology is based on the visual angle of human eyes, it can only be enjoyed by one person, and cannot be detected by ordinary camera.

Through the 5-million-pixel wide-angle holographic front camera and sensor, the Takee phone allows users to see holographic images without auxiliary tools. A camera at the bottom of the phone, together with four other cameras on the stand of the space camera, allows the users to operate the phone without touching it. OS and TOS based Baidu Cloud help optimize the display of hologram and interaction.
